No More Credit Card Processing Fees!
Let GlassHouse migrate you to our Convenience Fee Model solution. This means fees are no longer taken out of your bank account, you no longer receive a merchant statement, and the cardholder pays the fees at the time of the transaction. Our solution allows you to receive credit card payments and the reports reflecting your deposit, while the convenience fee is treated as a separate and simultaneous transaction that only the cardholder will see at the time of their payment and on their billing statement. This means the two separate transactions (your funds deposit and the cardholder's convenience fee) will completely eliminate all credit card processing fees for your company or municipality/gov’t entity while allowing you to only have to reconcile the deposit of funds and not the extra convenience/processing fee.
All U.S. states allow for surcharging/convenience fees added to credit card transactions for private sector businesses except the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma and Texas.
